In June 2006 Minerva acquired Professional Trust Company Limited, and with this acquisition Minerva is now one of the largest independently owned Trust companies in Jersey employing over 70 locally based staff. The business of Professional Trust Company Limited was successfully integrated during the second half of 2006.

Minerva is fully licensed and regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission to conduct trust business under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998.

In addition to the main office in Jersey, Minerva has fully-staffed offices in London, Geneva and Mauritius.

The principal areas of activity of Minerva relate to the formation and ongoing administration of trusts and companies registered in Jersey and other jurisdictions. Minerva also administers offshore funds and provides other funds related services from its offices in Jersey and Mauritius. At the end of 2007, Minerva had assets under administration in the region of USD10 billion.

All directors and senior managers are professionally qualified in Law, Accountancy or Banking, and administrative staff have wide ranging expertise in trusts, banking and company secretarial matters, in which they are supported by professional bookkeeping, accounts, and treasury teams.
