ARMEDAS'
operations are focussed on assisting lenders,
Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs), and
investors with their distressed assets requirements.
Specifically,
we concentrate on:
Resolution:
we assist lenders in India, namely banks
and financial institutions, with their
impaired loan assets. This includes assistance
in enforcing a security interest in
physical assets as a secured creditor for
possession, protection and disposal in
accordance with the Securitisation and
Reconstruction of Financial Assets and
Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002.
This service is also offered to ARCs with
their entire portfolios of distressed assets.
Reconstruction:
we help with the reconstruction of impaired
assets to both lending institutions and
ARCs through
a) business and financial restructuring with existing
or new management
b) sale of a business as a going concern (M&A)
c) sale of assets
Investment:
we identify opportunities individually
or as a portfolio, including
a) Securitisation, i.e. the acquisition of financial
assets by securitisation and reconstruction companies
b) Investment in distressed assets by funds, financial
institutions and high net-worth individuals from
India and abroad
ARMEDAS
has a large pool of distressed assets both
in the form of physical assets and loan assets
for investors and acquirers. We also have
a large network of investors including
funds for investment in distressed assets
and service providers essential for such
investments or acquisitions.
